How many sessions do I need?

Reiki is a journey of you healing yourself physically, mentally and getting to a place where you feel spiritually at peace with life. You decide (often at a sub-conscious level) the pace at which you want to go and what you want to get out of the session. Some people prefer to focus on the physical concerns before tackling the emotional. This can be possible but usually the two are intertwined and so healing happens at all levels at once. That said, if you are not open to the spiritual side of the healing then the focus will mostly be on the physical.
There is no set amount of Reiki that you ‘need’ – often people find 5 or 6 sessions is sufficient for a while. Some people like to leave a while in between sessions, others benefit from a more intense programme such as a weekly session. I like to leave it to clients to decide that - while giving them my recommendation for what I feel guided to offer.

What do I need to bring/do I need to prepare?
​Reiki is a technique that involves a gentle placing or hovering of hands on energy meridians by a practitioner who has been attuned to give Reiki healing. You remain fully clothed and can receive Reiki lying down on a therapy couch or on a chair.
Are there any contra indications?
If you are pregnant, suffer from mobility issues especially climbing stairs or chronic pain, please let us know at the time of booking.
